Vaniman’s ESD micro-abrasive sandblasters and dust collection solutions are designed for processes where electrostatic discharge risk matters, especially conformal coating removal and precision surface work on sensitive electronics and components.
Vaniman ESD-Resistant Sandblasters and Media
Why Teams Choose Vaniman for Conformal Coating Removal
⚡ ESD-Resistant Environment
Vaniman’s ESD approach combines grounding and ionized airflow, where applicable, to help create a continuously ESD-resistant work environment for sensitive processes.
🎯 Precision Removal for Sensitive Electronics
Vaniman systems are designed for applications requiring controlled, selective removal of conformal coatings such as silicone, acrylic, urethane, and epoxies.
💲 Significant Cost Savings Over Competing Brands
Vaniman’s ESD sandblasting and dust collection systems are priced far below larger competing brands, often by thousands of dollars.
🇺🇸 American Quality
Vaniman’s ESD equipment is assembled in the USA and backed by support from a team that understands industrial and electronics-focused workflows.
ESD Micro-Abrasive Sandblasting for Conformal Coating Removal
The Master Problast 3 ESD and Master Problast Titan ESD are designed for conformal coating removal and other sensitive precision work. They feature an ionized airflow that creates a continuously conductive, ESD-resistant environment, along with a fully grounded cabinet and work surface for complete user and part grounding.
- Instant-off media flow control
- Fully grounded cabinet and work surface
- Adjustable compressed-air ionizer with neutralizing ion flow
- Built-in pressure delivery system with adjustable regulator and foot pedal control
- Large, well-lit work area
- LED, UV, and combination lighting
- Support for blasting media from 25 to 250 micron
Recommended Dust Collection and Static Management
Vaniman’s ESD blasters require dust collection. For the Master Problast 3 ESD, we recommend the Abrasive Vac for operation. For the larger Master Problast Titan ESD, we recommend the StoneVac II dust collector with an Accumulator.
Other ESD-resistant products and accessories include:
Recommended Blasting Media
Our VanAcrylic thermoset acrylic plastic blasting media is our go-to recommendation for removing conformal coating from PCBs. It’s angular enough to efficiently remove layers of conformal coating while still being lightweight enough to avoid damaging electrical components or the solder mask.
